Quando a gastrostomia \u00e9 indicada?<\/h3>

A gastrostomia endosc\u00f3pica pode ser indicada quando a alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o oral n\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel ou segura, como nos seguintes casos:

\n\n\u2022 Dificuldade para engolir (disfagia), por doen\u00e7as neurol\u00f3gicas ou ap\u00f3s AVC.

\n\u2022 C\u00e2ncer de boca, garganta ou es\u00f4fago que impede a degluti\u00e7\u00e3o.

\n\u2022 Durante tratamentos como quimioterapia ou radioterapia, que podem dificultar a alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o.

\n\u2022 Em casos de desnutri\u00e7\u00e3o grave.

\n\u2022 Para substituir sondas nasoenterais, que passam pelo nariz at\u00e9 o est\u00f4mago e podem ser desconfort\u00e1veis para uso prolongado.

Como me preparo para o procedimento?<\/h3>

Antes do procedimento:

<\/span>\n\n\u2022 Combine com algu\u00e9m para acompanh\u00e1-lo e lev\u00e1-lo para casa ap\u00f3s o exame.

\n\u2022 Siga rigorosamente as orienta\u00e7\u00f5es do seu m\u00e9dico.

\n\u2022 Evite tomar aspirina ou anti-inflamat\u00f3rios nos dias que antecedem o procedimento, pois aumentam o risco de sangramento.

Prefira medicamentos como dipirona ou paracetamol.

\n\u2022 Se fizer uso cont\u00ednuo de aspirina ou anticoagulantes, converse com o m\u00e9dico sobre a necessidade de suspender temporariamente.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

Como \u00e9 realizada a gastrostomia?<\/h3>

O procedimento dura cerca de 30 minutos. O paciente recebe seda\u00e7\u00e3o e anestesia local para que n\u00e3o sinta dor.

\n\n1. Um endosc\u00f3pio \u00e9 introduzido pela boca at\u00e9 o est\u00f4mago. Esse aparelho tem uma c\u00e2mera que permite ao m\u00e9dico visualizar o interior do \u00f3rg\u00e3o.

\n2. O est\u00f4mago \u00e9 insuflado com ar, aproximando-o da parede abdominal.

\n3. Uma agulha \u00e9 introduzida pelo abdome at\u00e9 o est\u00f4mago. Um fio guia \u00e9 capturado com o aux\u00edlio do endosc\u00f3pio e puxado pela boca.

\n4. A sonda de alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 acoplada a esse fio e trazida de volta, sendo posicionada do est\u00f4mago at\u00e9 o exterior do abdome.

\n5. A extremidade interna da sonda \u00e9 fixada no est\u00f4mago e a externa na pele, ficando apenas um pequeno segmento vis\u00edvel.

\n\t\t\t\t\t

E ap\u00f3s o procedimento?<\/h3>

\u2022 A sonda pode ser utilizada entre 12 e 24 horas ap\u00f3s o procedimento.

\n\u2022 A equipe de sa\u00fade ensinar\u00e1 como cuidar e utilizar corretamente o tubo de alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o antes da alta.

\n\u2022 A alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o pode ser feita com seringa ou bomba de infus\u00e3o.

\n\u2022 Em caso de necessidade de uso prolongado, a sonda pode ser trocada de forma simples, em consult\u00f3rio.

E quanto aos medicamentos?<\/h3>

\u2022 Medicamentos l\u00edquidos podem ser administrados pela sonda com seringa.

\n\u2022 Muitos comprimidos tamb\u00e9m podem ser usados, desde que dilu\u00eddos em \u00e1gua ou substitu\u00eddos por vers\u00f5es l\u00edquidas \u2014 sempre com orienta\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dica.

\n\u2022 Ap\u00f3s a administra\u00e7\u00e3o de alimentos ou rem\u00e9dios, \u00e9 importante lavar a sonda com \u00e1gua para evitar entupimentos.

Embora seja um procedimento seguro, a gastrostomia pode apresentar algumas complica\u00e7\u00f5es:\n\n\u2022 Rea\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e0 seda\u00e7\u00e3o.

\n\u2022 Les\u00e3o acidental de \u00f3rg\u00e3os abdominais, como o intestino (raramente).

\n\u2022 Infec\u00e7\u00e3o ao redor da sonda.
